Cutler, fitted to your house style.
For post houses, agencies and in-house video teams with 2–10 editors on Final Cut. I write your house style down with your lead editor, set Cutler to your pacing, and cut one real job side by side with your team.
Each editor needs: an Apple Silicon Mac on macOS 15.6 or later (what the current Final Cut Pro needs) · Final Cut Pro · access to the team's own Claude account (Pro plan or API key) — ChatGPT support is in beta. Cutler licences are included.
Four steps, about two weeks.
Discovery.
Sixty minutes on what you cut, who you cut it for, and where your editors lose time.
Your house style, written.
A two-hour session with your lead editor turns your style into a style guide — one page every editor and Cutler reads before a cut.
Cutler, set to you.
Your pacing and preferences saved as one shared settings file, versioned, so every editor starts from the same place.
One job, side by side.
We cut one of your real projects together. A check-in call 30 days later.
One service, two ways in.
Studio setup is for editing teams. The same service, written for marketing teams, is Equip at Mira.

Your footage stays on your machines.
Your audio never leaves your Mac: transcription runs on it. To see the pictures, Cutler sends still frames from each clip to the model you pick: Claude on your own key, Qwen through OpenRouter, or Qwen on your own Mac if it has 32 GB of memory or more, in which case no image leaves at all. The paper edit is written by Claude, under your own account, from the transcript and the picture notes. You choose the route once, for the whole team, and nothing is ever uploaded to me.
Not everyone on Final Cut?
Cutler exports to Final Cut today; a Windows version is in development, with no date yet. The house style guide and the brief work in any editor, so mixed teams can start there. Ask on the form and I'll tell you what that would look like.
Before you book.
What if we stop using Cutler?
Everything it makes is an ordinary Final Cut project on your own media. Stop using it and your projects still open; you lose nothing.
Does our footage leave the building?
Transcription runs on each Mac. To see the pictures, Cutler sends still frames to a model you choose under your own account, or keeps everything on a Mac with 32 GB of memory or more. You choose once, for the whole team.
We're not on Final Cut.
Then it's early: Cutler exports to Final Cut today, and a Windows version is in development with no date yet. Send the form anyway and I'll tell you when that changes.

Erik Lindgren
I've edited professionally for more than twenty years: corporate films, brand work, interview series, and lately a kids' YouTube channel packed with graphics and sound effects.
Over the past year I rebuilt how I work around AI, and built Cutler to do it. The prep on an interview job went from five hours to one. A month of the kids' channel took a week. The cut stayed mine. I teach the workflow I use every day, including what didn't work.
Tell me about your team.
A few lines is enough. I reply within one working day.
